- Parent Night is Friday Sept 10th, 2010 at 6:30pm. Welcome back picnic: 9/11/09 3pm
- Teacher work day October 15th, 2010
- Closed Nov 11th and 12th for Veterans Day and Teacher work day
- No classes November 19th for fall parent/teacher conferences
- Closed November 24th, 25th and 26th for Thanksgiving
- Closed December 20th 2010 through January 2nd, 2011 for Christmas Break.
- School starts back the following Monday January 3rd, 2011.

- We will spend a bit of time learning all about the Montessori classroom: introducing students to all the Montessori materials in the school. Creating a working atmosphere.
- Once the students are normalized in the classroom we will be able to expand our study to the world around us:

- Volcanoes
- The Four Elements
- Cardinal directions
- The Western Hemisphere
- The Eastern Hemisphere
- North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica
- Land and water Forms
- Botany: going on leaf walks, disecting flowers, studying different types of leaves.
- Zoology: vertebrates, and invertebrates, mammals and non-mammals, amphibians and reptiles, mollusks and crustaceans, insects and arachnids.
We will study the lifecycle of a butterfly and the lifecycle of a frog.
